Adjusting the sensitivity of the iPhone microphone, Amplitude enables users to amplify sounds from across a room, unveiling a world of previously unheard elements.

Using Amplitude is a simple process. By launching the app and pointing the device in the direction of the desired sound, users can explore their environment in a unique way through their headphones. Individual controls allow for adjusting the microphone sensitivity or muting the sound amplifying feature altogether.

Amplitude opens up new and intimate ways to experience nature and wildlife:

Amplitude offers several benefits, turning your iPhone or iPod Touch into a sound amplifier, allowing you to hear sounds through thin walls or doors. The app provides adjustable microphone sensitivity, volume controls, and the ability to view sound waves on the oscilloscope.

 <li>For safety, Amplitude starts in Muted mode. The "Mute at Start" feature can be configured in the Info screen.</li>

 <li>Experiment with microphone sensitivity, as different situations may require varying levels.</li>
 <li>To conserve battery life, launch the application and press the device sleep button to darken the screen.</li>
 <li>Maximize reception by using hands or a plastic cup to focus incoming sound, particularly useful when listening through solid objects like doors or walls.</li>
 <li>Avoid using Amplitude in windy situations as wind noise may affect microphone sensitivity.</li>
