Amplitude enhances aural experiences by allowing users to hear distant or quiet sounds as if they were standing nearby. With its high-quality hardware, Amplitude can detect and amplify even the faintest of sounds. Please note that to ensure the best experience, it is recommended to use earbuds without built-in microphones.

Adjusting the sensitivity of the iPhone microphone, Amplitude enables users to amplify sounds from across a room, unveiling a world of previously unheard elements.

Using Amplitude is a simple process. By launching the app and pointing the device in the direction of the desired sound, users can explore their environment in a unique way through their headphones. Individual controls allow for adjusting the microphone sensitivity or muting the sound amplifying feature altogether.

Amplitude opens up new and intimate ways to experience nature and wildlife:

 <li>Hear the mesmerizing sound of a hummingbird's wings beating back and forth, a truly amazing experience with Amplitude.</li>

Additionally, Amplitude offers opportunities for experimenting and exploring within your immediate surroundings:

 <li>Extend your range by attaching a cup or small plastic bowl to your iPhone's end, focusing incoming sound.</li>

At sporting events, Amplitude allows users to catch every detail:

 <li>In baseball, listen to the first base coach, players in the dugout, and players in the batting circle.</li>
 <li>In golf, hear golf pros discussing their next shots with their caddies.</li>

Amplitude offers several benefits, turning your iPhone or iPod Touch into a sound amplifier, allowing you to hear sounds through thin walls or doors. The app provides adjustable microphone sensitivity, volume controls, and the ability to view sound waves on the oscilloscope.

Here are some tips for using Amplitude:

 <li>To achieve the best audio reception, point the microphone in the direction of the desired sound.</li>
 <li>Amplitude controls are oriented differently from other apps, with the microphone pointed towards target sounds.</li>
 <li>For safety, Amplitude starts in Muted mode. The "Mute at Start" feature can be configured in the Info screen.</li>
 <li>Device volume between 50-75% is recommended for optimal performance.</li>
 <li>Experiment with microphone sensitivity, as different situations may require varying levels.</li>
 <li>To conserve battery life, launch the application and press the device sleep button to darken the screen.</li>
 <li>Maximize reception by using hands or a plastic cup to focus incoming sound, particularly useful when listening through solid objects like doors or walls.</li>
 <li>Avoid using Amplitude in windy situations as wind noise may affect microphone sensitivity.</li>
